Teacher Nana

Dialect: East Coast USA

Hello! My name is Nana. I love my job as an online teacher and stock market investor. My home is in Raleigh, North Carolina. I also lived, worked and traveled in Europe for a year. Does your job require you to work with someone whose native language is English? You may have noticed that idioms and slang are commonly spoken. Participating in conversations with colleagues in the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia can be very difficult. If this is your concern, studying a movie with me is a very effective strategy for learning to communicate well with native speakers. This is my specialty. The movie provides an example of a realistic conversation. Watch part of the movie during class to discuss the meaning of idioms and slang. You will also learn when it is appropriate to use idioms and slang and practice using idioms and slang. Do you like science fiction, action movies, superhero movies, dramas, "Chick Flick" (romance), and / or happy movies? You can choose! Want to apply for a job that requires English? As your teacher, I will check English on your resume. You can practice answering interview questions. I kindly provide suggestions. Learn how to successfully participate in conversations with native speakers! Let's meet!
